Tomas Malmqvist dominated the Breeders Courseelimination at Jägersro.
His Jazzy Dancer (Erik Adielsson drove) won and his Hurlyburly was third for Ken Ecce.
Both are thus ready for the final, but the unique thing is that Jazzy Dancer is trained in France while Hurlyburly is trained at Jägersro – by the same trainer.
– I have always felt that the speed has been in Jazzy Dancer, but he has been and is very unpolished. Now he was calm and then he also won. Otherwise, I think it feels good that both my horses went on to the final. One trained in France, the other in Sweden. I think this shows that the arrangements at both my facilities work. We have come to the right place, says Tomas Malmqvist, who now has most of his training business in France.
Erik Adielsson drove the horse for the first time and he also felt that there was some humor in Jazzy Dancer.
- A little unexperienced yet, but there was capacity. Then I kept fumbling with the string to the earcovers for 40-50 meters, but he responded very well to the outside horse.
The outside horse was Bellissimo Face together with Adrian Kolgjini, he had the grip on the winner for a short while but was outscored. Now it was a second place and thus Adrian Kolgjini also has two horses qualified for the final (Urban Africa qualified in Åby).
Now only Wednesday's elimination remains at Solvalla before the field for the final at Jägersro on 29 September is ready.
