Paul Hagoort!
The elimination at Victoria Park in Wolvega was a great show by trainer Paul Haagort. His horses took the first three places.
But a little surprisingly, it was Diapason who was first. Together with driver André Bakker, he answered for a sharp finish and reached his teammate Monastery Boko right on the line.
These two are thus ready for the final at Solvalla on the last Sunday in May where SEK one million awaits the winner.
Monastery Boko sat in front of Diapason, finished well but could not spare the very last step. Monastery Boko was run by Micha Brouwer, the young talent who won the 3-year-old final at Solvalla last year with Love You Too. Third was Hurricane, also trained by Hagoort.
Favorite Gio Cash (Dion Tesselaar) galloped before the start and Danish Melody got tired in the front. This means that before the final elimination at Åby, the following horses are qualified for the final at Solvalla: Tetrick Wania, Show Your Guts, Urban Africa, Point of View, Pure Atlas, Jewilla, Dea Grif, Expelled, Diapason and Monastery Boko.
The final will be decided on Sunday 29 May with SEK one million for the winner.
