Chipper Kronos, there you have the season's first 2-year-old winner in Breeders Course.
The 2-year-old debutant looked like a future top horse. Chipper Kronos (Southwind Frank – Trendy Kronos) slid directly to the lead, driver Stefan Persson sat most and looked around during the race. Into the homestretch, Persson eased the reins a bit and Chipper Kronos opened up several lengths to second Arizona Face.
– Is a nice variety that is well prepared, said trainer Svante Båth.
Before the race, Båth did not dare to promise a win, but still expressed himself positively:
– In any case, mine has shown good speed and despite tough opposition, I have hopes that he will last a while.
As you know, Svante Båth is a recognized skilled young horse trainer and Chipper Kronos made his debut in 14.5 / 1640 meters - and then there was plenty of strength left.
Behind the winner, Arizona Face (Adrian Kolgjini) finished well and second place guarantees a place in the final at Jägersro on September 30 with a total prize money of SEK 1,200,000.
